Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and execute surveillance operations
  • Establish mobile and fixed covert surveillance posts
  • Monitor the activities and movements of specific surveillance targets
  • Monitor the interactions and communications between targets and other individuals
  • Capture covert audiovisual evidence (photo, video, sound recordings) and telemetry data for analysis
  • Maintain an accurate log of all events and activities observed or witnessed during surveillance operations
  • Compile progress reports, activity reports and other investigative products
  • Gather and analyze intelligence related to surveillance targets

Educational requirements:

Certificate of completion for any recognized private, law-enforcement, military or civilian intelligence course related to covert surveillance.

Experience requirements:

At least 2 years of verifiable working experience in law-enforcement, military or civilian intelligence operations, preferably covert surveillance operations

Qualifications:

  • An extensive knowledge of the broader area of operations
  • An advanced or defensive driving qualification
  • Fluency in the use of digital cameras, video and audio recorders
  • Knowledge of GPS tracking devices, capabilities and limitations
  • Fluent in English – written and verbal
